How we handle your details

Kite isn't open yet. Right now the only personal information we hold is what you give us when you join the early-access list. This page says what that is, why we have it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your country, if you choose to tell us. It's optional.
- How you found us: the campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM parameters) and the page that sent you (the referrer).
Why we collect it
- To tell you when Kite opens, and to send you occasional updates before then.
- Your country and how you found us help us decide where to launch next and which channels are worth our time. We look at them in aggregate.
- We don't sell your details, and we never pass them to lenders.
Who processes it for us
- Resend stores the early-access list and sends our emails.
- PostHog measures how the site is used. It runs without cookies, and we never send it your email address.
- Both services may store data outside New Zealand. We use them only under terms that protect your information to a standard comparable with the Privacy Act.
Your rights
- You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@kitewealth.app and we'll do it.
- Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Using it takes you off the list straight away.
- If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
